Magnitude 5.7 earthquake strikes near Indonesian island of Java
JAKARTA, 27th January, 2026 (WAM) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 magnitude struck near the Indonesian island of Java on Tuesday.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 138 kilometres.
